Pustnik screenwriters residency | Romania

The 7th edition of Pustnik Screenwriters Residency will take place 10–18 September 2021 at Port Cetate, Romania, an historical site with an incredible story of its own, located on the shore of the Danube.

During the retreat, eight filmmakers – two Romanians and six Internationals – will develop their first or second feature-length screenplays.

Besides dedicated writing time, Pustnik also offers participants the opportunity to meet residency alumni who have already produced their debut films, as well as established screenwriters who can provide feedback on their projects.

Residents and guests take part in common working sessions and screenings of their own work. Organisers encourages them to offer each other feedback and nurture a generous spirit of support.
