Kanguristi

Pardimäe Lokaal  was established in 2011 by artists Kaja Kann and Juha Valkeapää.
It is situated with its studio, sauna, house, fields and forests in the borderline of Lääne- and Ida-Virumaa, in a village called Kanguristi. The residency offers the extraordinary conditions for work to translators, writers, producers, curators, or directors.

 

Place: Pardimäe Lokaal, Kanguristi village, Viru Nigula parish, Lääne Virumaa, Estonia.

 

Pardimäe Lokaal offers privacy, possibility to concentrate away from the daily routine and also the critical feedback from the founders of the house.
Pardimäe Lokaal is a place for artists who are engaged in performance arts, visual arts, music, film, literature, new media, new circus, theoretical and cultural production. The doors of Pardimäe Lokaal are open to everyone who’s trying to find their place in the world and for those who aren’t scared of difficult, rural conditions.

 

The stay lasts a minimum of 6 days and a maximum of 2 months.

Resident should pay the expenses of her/his own (electricity, water, wood, internet).
