Residency for artists | Chianti | La Macina di San Cresci

Residency in La Macina di San Cresci is located above Greve in Chianti in the heart of Tuscany, between two great cities of the Renaissance: Florence & Siena.

La Macina di San Cresci welcomes artists of all ages, nationalities and artistic disciplines (including literature – fiction, nonfiction, drama, librettos, as well as translation). Artists are selected at all stages in their careers.
The house is located in a very silent and peaceful area, far about 2,5 km from the town of Greve in Chianti.

 

Duration of residency: from 1 week to 3 months.
There is a residency fee which is 450 euro per week and 300 euro per each next week.

Residency applications can be submitted at any time.

 

Decisions are made by a committee composed of representatives from the Municipality of Greve in Chianti and a staff of artists and professionals.
