Translation House Looren

Swiss residency program for translators located in the city of Wernetshausen near Zurich. The project offers translators from all over the world a creative and tranquill place to work, develop and participate in numerous conferences or workshops.

 

Translators applying for the scholarship should have at least one translation published. Due to the pandemic and its financial issues for translators, Translation House Looren has decided not to charge any fees for the stay. The organization has also a program (Emerging Translators Program) which supports young translators working on their debut.

 

If there are any free rooms available at the moment, registration takes as little time as  possible, and the stay itself lasts several weeks.
