Maria Pushkina about herself:
“I translate from Polish, English, Russian and, not so often, from Czech and Ukrainian. Translations of  Czesław Miłosz, Andrzej Stasiuk, Sergiusz Piasecki, Małgorzata Szejnert, Jarosław Grzedowicz and others have appeared in print. I love translating books for children and working with theaters, I have translated Reykjavik’74 by Marta Sokołowska, Gardenia by Elżbieta Chowaniec for Belarusian theatre groups, and a few more beautiful texts, which are waiting for their directors. During my residency, I intend to finish editing the Belarusian translation of Stanisław Lem’s Star Diaries. Winner of the ZAiKS Award for translators (2014).”
