Residency opportunity for UK-based Korean-English literary translator

The deadline for submitting applications is 23rd May 2021.

The National Centre for Writing is partnering with LTI Korea to offer a four-week residency in Norwich to a UK-based literary translator working from Korean to English.

The residency dates will be Monday 5th July to Friday 30th July 2021.

Organization hosts writers and translators in the cottage at Dragon Hall. The cottage is a small house attached to the main Dragon Hall building.

The main focus of the residency will be time to translate. Other aspects will include working with a UK-based mentor; taking part in the NCW Writing Life podcast; contributing a piece to the Walking Norwich series; and meeting local literary translators.

They will cover the cost of travel to Norwich from within the UK, accommodation at Dragon Hall and a stipend to cover daily living expenses.
