The Bibliothek Andreas Züst invites duos and collectives (up to 5 people) to apply for a 6-week studio residency taking place 22 July – 30 August 2026. The program is open to national and international cultural workers across disciplines: visual arts, literature, new media, music, theatre, design, architecture, film, photography, and related fields.
Who can apply?
The residency is intended for projects engaging with the library as a whole or through one of its specific sub-collections.
Benefits and conditions
– 6-week stay at the Alpenhof panorama lodge (Switzerland, 1,110 m a.s.l., overlooking Lake Constance and the Rhine Valley).
– Free accommodation, meals, and access to a shared studio.
– Private bedroom for each participant.
– Multiple quiet workspaces and full access to the Bibliothek Andreas Züst.
– Travel costs covered.
– Optional living-cost subsidy of up to CHF 750 (upon request).

Submit your application to residency@bibliothekandreaszuest.net as one PDF file (max. 7 MB) including:
– completed application form,
– Statement of Purpose (max. 1 A4 page),
– documentation of previous work + CV (max. 5 pages),
– CVs of all collaborators,
– motivation and working approach as a collective (max. 1 A4 page).
