LITERARY RESIDENCIES IN WARSAW FOR WRITERS, PLAYWRITERS AND TRANSLATORS FROM BELARUS AND UKRAINE | 2025

Born in 1991 in Mir, Belarus. Poet, performer, editor and translator. Member of group of artists “Krasnyi Borshchevik”. Member of a PEN Belarus.

 

Graduated with Master degree in 2014 from the Belarusian Philology department of Hrodna State University. Graduated from the Creative Writing School of the Union of Belarusian Writers (2013). Graduated from poetry and translation department of Young Writer’s School “WRights” of the Union of Belarusian Writers (2020). Poetry was published in several literary magazines and anthologies.

 

Author of a poetry collections “Water Begins to Live” (2020), which was awarded with the Maksim Bahdanovič award as the best poetry Debut (2021), “Corpus Vile” (2023), “I am the very forbidden flag” (2023). He is also a translator from polish, ukrainian and swedish.

 

As an artist he works in such media as collage, action, performance. Participant of the exhibition “Ciahlicy” (Minsk, 2018).He took part in the international performance festival “Performensk” (Minsk, 2019), “Now festival” (Tbilisi, 2022), together with the team in the international festivals “Eve’s Ribs” (St. Petersburg, 2018, 2019), “Carbonarium” (Kyiv, 2019), “Dotyk” (Minsk, 2020).

 

Currently lives in Warsaw, Poland.
