Writer, screenwriter, film director.

 

Born on May 11, 1990, in Zhdanivka, Donetsk region, Ukraine. Studied at the Donetsk College of Culture. Graduatedfrom the Institute of Screen Arts (Kyiv) in 2012. Works in television as a director, screenwriter and video editor of documentary films. Debuted as a writer in 2021 with the novel Magnum, shortlisted for the BBC Book of the Year Award (Ukraine).

 

In January 2026, his second novel, Dandelion Town (Kulbabove Misto), was published. Pursuing a Master’sdegree in History at the Ukrainian Free University in Munich. Based in Lisbon, Portugal.
