LITERARY RESIDENCIES IN WARSAW FOR WRITERS, PLAYWRITERS AND TRANSLATORS FROM BELARUS AND UKRAINE

Born in Minsk in 1982. She writes in Belarusian. She is the author of poems, short stories, and essays, translates Czech, English, Polish, and Ukrainian literature and edits the Belarusian series of books by women writers entitled Amerykanka i Gradus (American and Gradus). She is also a literary activist.

 

Her publications include: Цмокі лятуць на нераст: эсэ ў вершах і про зе (Dragons fly to spawn. Essays in verse and prose, 2008), Амбасада: вершы свае і чужыя (Ambasada. Wiersze się i nie, 2011), Сарматыя (Sarmatyja, 2018), Як пазбцца Mamatuta (How to Get Rid of Mamatuta, 2020). She received two literary awards in Belarus for his poetry collection “Sarmatyja.” In 2022, she published Ten Poems That Could Be Translated into Polish (Sejny: Borderland Foundation, edited by Bohdan Zadura). She lives in Minsk and Bronna Góra.
