LITERARY RESIDENCIES IN WARSAW FOR WRITERS, PLAYWRITERS AND TRANSLATORS FROM BELARUS AND UKRAINE

Born in 1987 in Vitebsk, she graduated in cultural studies from University in Minsk. She worked as a light operator and puppet actress at the Belarusian LALKA theater. She is an author of dramas. Her first play was awarded the Tom Stoppard Prize for best playwright debut at the International Biennale “Free Theatre.” She is a member of the Belarusian PEN Club.

 

During her residency in Warsaw, she will be working on a drama triptych titled Kronika ataku paniki [Chronicle of a Panic Attack]: three separate plays, which themes would focus on the traumatic experiences in Belarus of August 2020.
