LITERARY RESIDENCIES IN WARSAW FOR WRITERS, PLAYWRITERS AND TRANSLATORS FROM BELARUS AND UKRAINE | 2023

Translator, poet, cultural manager. Born in 1990, Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. She is the initiator of the VERBatsiya translation group and director of the TRANSLATORIUM Literary and Translation Festival. Earlier, she worked as part of the curatorial team in the International Book Arsenal Festival (Kyiv, Ukraine). 

Among her published translations are books by Timothy Snyder, Dorothee Richter, and Pascal Gielen. 

Together with the VERBatsiya translation group, she translated poetry by American poets of beat generation, such as Allen Ginsberg, Gary Snyder, Gregory Corso, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti, as well as poems by Latvian text group Orbita (Artur Punte, Vladimir Svetlov, Sergej Timofejev, Semyon Khanin). 

Now she is actively engaged in translating Ukrainian war poetry into English. Some of her own poems are translated in English, German, French, and Lithuanian. In particular, they were published in Sunflowers Ukrainian Poetry on War, Resistance, Hope and Peace — Edited by Kalpna Singh Chitnis, RiverPaw Press, USA, 2022.
