Daryna Gladun

Ukrainian writer, poet, translator, performer and researcher. Her first book «Рубати дерево» [To cut the tree] is a collection of eco-poetry that reconsiders national myths. Her second book «ІЗ ТІНІ КРАСИВИХ ЧЕРВОНИХ ХЛОПЧИКІВ» [FROM THE SHADOW OF HANDSOME RED BOYS] discusses topics of soviet heritage and post-totalitarian experience of former soviet republics. In both books she explores her family history through poetry media. Her books were translated into Polish by Janusz Radwański, selected poems are also translated by Aneta Kamińska and Iwona Stodolska. Several of her poems were translated into English, French, Georgian, Hebrew, Belarussian, Russian and Bengali.
